What Happened

Hanover County Sheriff's office officials released the name of the man killed in a bridge fall on February 6th, 2019. 57-year-old Joseph Mullins was killed when he fell from the Dan Cameron Bridge in Wilmington, NC. Officials say Mullins had previously been in a car accident and either jumped or fell after exiting his vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
