What Happened

State Police are investigating a collision that killed a man at 18300 Bessbrook Rd in Charlotte, NC on June 11th, 2019. Officials say the incident happened around 1:30 p.m. 57-year-old Lynn Ray Patterson was working near a construction site, loading a skid onto a semi-truck. The tractor portion then began to roll back, striking him in the process. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
