Police say the incident happened around 2 p.m. According to investigators, a dump truck was exiting an access road while allegedly pulling into the path of an approaching 18-wheeler. The two vehicles collided as a result, leaving the tractor-trailer operator, a 63-year-old male who was not publicly identified, with non-life-threatening injuries. The dump truck operator, a 31-year-old male who also was not publicly identified, was allegedly uninjured and allegedly charged with failure to yield, according to sources.
