North Carolina Highway Patrol officials are investigating on a crash that killed a teen at I-485 in Charlotte, NC on February 28th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 5:50 p.m. Police say a van collided with the rear of a tractor-trailer in heavy traffic before also striking a pickup truck. A 13-year-0ld teen in the van suffered fatal injuries in the crash. The driver was hospitalized with serious injuries. The conditions of the other drivers was not discussed.
