What Happened

North Carolina Highway Officials are investigating a crash on Eagle Rock Road in Wendell, NC that injured two people December 21st, 2018. Officials say a 78-year-old woman and her daughter were seriously injured in the accident. The accident reportedly involved their SUV and a semi-truck which struck the SUV when it pulled in front of it near a stop sign. Both mother and daughter were hospitalized with serious injuries. The driver of the semi-truck suffered minor injuries. The exact cause of the crash remains under investigation.
