What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash at Hwy 81 in St Thomas, ND on March 14th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 8:40 a.m. According to investigators, a passenger vehicle operated by 58-year-ld Melynie Wolfgram is alleged to have lost control on an icy portion of roadway. This is believed to have caused the vehicle to slide into the path of a semi-truck traveling in an opposite direction lane. The crash left Wolfgram with fatal injuries. The truck driver involved was not injured. Right now, police say no charges will be filled and did not have additional information to share.
