What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash involving a semi-truck that killed a child and injured two people on I-90 in Mentor, OH on January 25th, 2019. Officials say the accident occurred when the victim's vehicle was struck by a semi-truck and fell down an embankment. 10-year-old Ji Ferguson was killed. The 37-year old driver and a 6-year-old passenger were hospitalized with serious injuries. The driver of the semi-truck was not injured.
