Darke County Sheriff's Office authorities released the name of the driver killed in a semi-truck accident on US 127 in Darke County, OH on January 17th, 2019. 67-year-old John K. Cecil was killed when his vehicle collided head-on with another vehicle in opposite direction traffic after attempting to pass a semi-truck. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The drover of the semi-truck, 36-year-old Travis D Hertel, was treated at the scene.
