What Happened

A married couple was killed in a two-vehicle crash at Marion-Williamsport Rd in Columbus, OH on January 9th, 2023. Police say it happened around 11 a.m. and involved a Dodge Durango and semi-truck. Investigators believe the semi-truck failed to yield at an intersection before they collided. The impact pushed the Durango into a nearby ditch. The occupants of the Dodge, identified as 85-year-old Thomas McClaren and 84-year-old Nancy McClaren, were pronounced dead at an area hospital.  The driver of the Dodge, 60-year-old Tammy Manns and the truck driver, 55-year-old Edward Taylor, were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. No other details were available.
