Police say the incident happened as a Nissan Altima attempted to turn left to cross OK-48. The vehicle was struck by a dump truck operated by 35-year-old Michael Stephens. The impact left a passenger in the Nissan, identified as 82-year-old Francis Ringdahl, with fatal injuries.
