What Happened

Oklahoma Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a person and injured another at  I-35 in McClain County, OK on March 2nd, 2020. Officials say the incident happened around 9:30 a.m. An 18-wheeler reportedly collided with the rear of an SUV in a construction zone. The impact pushed the SUV into the rear of another tractor trailer, killing 63-year-old Julia Kraus. Her passenger, 71-year-old James Kraus, was hospitalized with serious injuries. Neither truck driver was injured.
