What Happened

Oklahoma Highway Patrol officials released the name of the woman killed in a semi-truck accident in Canadian County, OK on January 5th, 2019. 18-year-old Sarahi Salome Hernandez was killed when her vehicle allegedly failed to yield to a semi-truck at a stop sign. Hernandez's vehicle crossed into an eastbound lane of Hwy 3 and was struck by the semi travelling in a westbound lane. Hernandez was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi-truck was not injured.
