What Happened

Oklahoma City Police are investigating a crash that killed one person at I-40 in Oklahoma City, OK on August 24th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 3:56 a.m. According to investigators, a semi-truck operated by 26-year-old Sonu Nehra, is said to have veered from the roadway for unclear reasons. Police allege the vehicle lost control while trying to correct back into the road before colliding with a barrier wall, pinning Nehra in the truck. Nehra suffered fatal injuries in the incident. A passenger in the truck, who was not identified, was hospitalized with undisclosed injuries.
