What Happened

Oregon State Police released the name of the driver killed in a semi-truck accident on I-5 in Keizer, OR on January 23rd, 2019. 59-year-old Jelacio Carrasco Vargas was killed when the pickup truck he was driving was rear-ended with a semi-truck driven by Ernesto Rodriguez Vargas. Carrasco Vargas was reportedly backing up the pickup truck from a stopped position on the roadway at the time of the accident.
