What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a person at Main Street and East Slippery Rock St in Chicora, PA on September 26th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 4 p.m. According to investigators, a box truck operated by 25-year-old Adam Burns is said to have been pulling from East Slippery Rock Street onto southbound Main Street before colliding with a motorcycle operated by 32-year-old Cory Claypoole. Claypoole suffered serious injuries, according to officials, and was hospitalized. Officials say Burns was not injured in the crash. Additional information was not immediately available.
