What Happened

State Police are saying two people died following a crash at I-83 in Dauphin County, PA on January 16th, 2023. The crash is said to have happened around 11:20 p.m. and involved a tractor-trailer. Investigators believe the truck veered from the road road for unknown reasons while headed northbound. It hit a concrete barrier before traveling down an embankment. The crash caused the truck to catch fire and left two occupants with fatal injuries. One, the driver, was identified as 49-year-old Greg Stupar. The other occupant has not yet been identified publicly. Authorities did not have additional information to share.
