What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a man at Mt Thor Rd in Hempfield, PA on November 30th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 5 p.m. According to investigators, a commercial truck operated by 25-year-old Quantae Beavers is said to have struck an unnamed male near ABC Auto Parts before leaving the scene. The man was hospitalized with serious lower body injuries. Beavers was later arrested on a charge of aggravated assault as well as simple assault, harassment and reckless endangerment.
