What Happened

State Police have identified the person killed in a crash at SC 19 in Aiken, SC on July 27th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 7:32 p.m. According to investigators, a northbound Freightliner was in the process of performing a left turn onto an I-20 on-ramp when it veered from the road and overturn. The driver, identified as 60-year-old Cleve Greene, was taken to an area hospital with injuries he later died from. Additional information was not provided.
