What Happened

Area authorities have confirmed the death of a person involved in a multi-vehicle crash at I-85 in Anderson, SC on July 6th, 2020. Officials say the incident happened around 2:15 p.m. Multiple vehicles collided under unclear circumstances.  64-year-old Glenn Benzing was involved in the collision and his vehicle caught fire. He was was hospitalized with serious injuries and later passed away on August 12th.
