Police are saying it happened around 7:22 p.m. According to officials, the victim was 67-year-old Abundio Resendiz. They believe Resendiz was crossing Pioneer Parkway on-foot before he was struck by a westbound vehicle. The driver remained at the scene to render aid and for authorities. Resendiz suffered fatal injuries in the collision. Currently, police say there are no charges pending against the driver.
