What Happened

A three-vehicle collision led to a death at East Anderson Ln in Austin, TX on February 21st, 2023.  Police say the incident happened around 7:36 a.m. According to investigators, three vehicles collided at the intersection with Cameron Rd. Officials were not yet able to provide a possible cause for the collision. They confirmed that a passenger in one of the vehicles, identified as 40-year-old Aciel Fernandez, suffered fatal injuries at the scene. Two other passengers were hospitalized in critical condition. No additional information was available.
