What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials have information on a crash that injured a driver at I-20 in Harrison County, TX on October 9th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 6:23 p.m. A tractor-trailer operated by a 38-year-old Baker, LA man was proceeded into an intersection after stopping at a stop sign and/or flashing red light while facing an eastbound I-20 exit ramp. Investigators believe the truck failed to yield in doing so and collided with a Toyota Tundra operated by 43-year-old Adam Warren Roberson. Roberson suffered minor injuries in the collision. The other driver was not injured and a charge of Failure to Yield at Stop Intersection was suggested by responding officers.
