What Happened

Police were called to the scene of crash that saw 24-year-old Ahmed El Khaled killed at FM 1960 Harris County, TX on December 10th, 2022. Authorities place the accident happening around 9:43 p.m. Police say Khaled was crossing north to south at the the FM 1960 and believe he was outside a marked crosswalk. As a Mitsubishi Lancer operated by an unnamed 44-year-old woman approached, the vehicle is alleged to have performed an attempted evasive maneuver before striking Khaled. Officers say Khaled died at the scene while the driver was uninjured.
