What Happened

Local authorities are investigating a two-vehicle crash at State Hwy 31 in Navarro County, TX on December 23rd, 2022 that left Amanda Watkins injured. Police believe it happened around 11:08 p.m. Investigators are currently saying a Kia Sportage operated by 42-year-old Amanda Watkins was traveling southbound on FM 667 approaching a stop intersection. The vehicle is alleged to have missed a posted stop sign and proceeded into the intersection where it was struck by a westbound Jeep Gladiator operated by an unnamed 39-year-old Round Rock woman. The Round Rock woman had minor injuries while Watkins was more seriously injured.
