What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a person at I-10 in Waller County, TX on December 8th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 6:28 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by an unnamed 62-year-old Katy, TX woman was headed westbound on an I-10 entrance ramp. A Toyota Camry operated by 53-year-old Ana Alely Garcia was traveling ahead of the truck and stopped due to traffic ahead, unable to merge. The truck collided with the Camry, causing Garcia serious injuries. The Katy woman was not injured and officers issued and/or recommended a Failure to Control Speed charge.
