What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at Briar Forest Dr in Houston, TX on August 6th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 4:48 p.m. Investigators say a Chevrolet Express van operated by 48-year-old Demetrio Gallegos was going northbound on Hwy 6 behind a Chevrolet Equinox operated by 39-year-old Andre Deshon McMillan. Police say the van failed to control tis speed and collided with the rear of the Equinox. A passenger in the vehicle, identified as 39-year-old Tiffany Boyd, suffered serious injuries. A second passenger was also seriously injured while McMillan and two other passengers had minor injuries. Gallegos was not injured and officers recommended and/or issued a Failure to Control Speed charge.
