What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 59 in Fort Bend County, TX on December 4th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:11 a.m. According to investigators, a Honda Accord operated by an unnamed 19-year-old man was headed southbound on US 59 before performing a lane change. In the process, it collided with a Chevrolet Suburban operated by 61-year-old Andy Morales. Morales had serious injuries while the other driver was not injured. Officials recommended DWI charges under suspicion of alcohol involvement.
