What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two drivers at TX 360 in Arlington, TX on January 1st, 2023. Officials say the incident happened around 6:35 a.m. According to investigators, a Jeep Compass operated by Ugochinyere Nwarie was traveling southbound in a center lane. At the same time a Dodge Ram operated by 43-year-old Anthony Andrews was traveling in the outside lane. Officers allege the Jeep struck the rear of the Dodge, either during a lane change or due to drifting out of its lane, causing the Dodge to veer from the road and overturn. Andrews was taken to an area hospital with injuries that were later determined to be serious. A DWI charge was recommended and/or issued as well as a Changing Lanes When Unsafe charge.
