Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a bicyclist at 67th St ad Dixie Blvd in Odessa, TX on December 3rd, 2022. Police say the incident happened as an unnamed,ed bicyclist was struck from the rear by a Chevrolet pickup truck. Following the collision, the driver of the truck, identified as 32-year-old James Thomas Allen, allegedly fled the scene on-foot before later being found and placed under arrest under suspicion of driving while intoxicated. The bicyclist was hospitalized in critical condition. Additional information was not immediately available.
