What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at I-10 in Jacinto City, TX on November 22nd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 7 a.m. According to investigators, a Jeep Wrangler operated by 30-year-old Brandon Gonzalez was eastbound, exiting I-10 eastbound main lanes onto the service road. The vehicle is said to have been headed eastbound on the service road before colliding with the rear of a tractor-trailer. Reports say the Jeep lost control and traveled through a curb line before overturning, leaving Gonzalez with serious injuries. A second Jeep occupant, age 29 and not publicly identified, was also believed to be seriously injured. The tractor-trailer operator was not injured, police say.
