What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 69 in Hardin County, TX on September 2nd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 9:51 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet C1500 Suburban was headed northbound in the southbound lanes of US 69 prior to colliding with a Kia Soul operated by 31-year-old Brittany Feagin. Feagin was seriously injured in the collision, as was the 30-year-old Baytown man operating the Chevrolet. Investigators allege the man was impaired at the time of the collision and recommended and/or issued an Intoxication Assault charge.
