What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a person at Elizabeth Ave in Palacios, TX on April 22nd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:06 p.m. According to investigators, a Jeep Compass operated by a 58-year-old Palacios woman was traveling northbound on Elizabeth Ave when it alleged failed to yield at an intersection. The vehicle collided with a Dodge Journey operated by 34-year-old Brittini Guerrero headed southbound on Gray Ave. The collision left Guerrero with serious injuries.  The Palacios woman was not injured and cited for Failure to Yield at Intersection.
