What Happened

Fort Worth Police are investigating a crash that killed a person at TX 360 in Fort Worth, TX on February 2nd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 11:43 p.m. Investigators are saying a Volkswagen Golf operated by 22-year-old Bryan Merritt was traveling along northbound Hwy 360 approaching a bridge. On the bridge was a disabled Ford F-150 operated by a 49-year-old Euless man in a median. The vehicle was only partially in a travel lane before the two vehicles collided. Officers noted the bridges were covered in ice at the time of the crash, which may have contributed to the crash. Merritt suffered fatal injuries in the crash. The occupants of the Ford were not injured. Additional information was not immediately available.
