What Happened

Area authorities have information on a two-vehicle crash that injured two drivers at Amon Carter Blvd in Fort Worth, TX on August 6th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 1:40 p.m. According to investigators, a Cadillac ATS operated by Luis Rivas Velasco was southbound on Amon Carter Blvd at the time. Traveling eastbound on the Airport Freeway service road was a Mini Cooper operated by 20-year-old Bryce Wooten. Authorities allege the Cadillac may have disregarded a red light before proceeding into the intersection and colliding with the Mini Cooper. It was suggested by authorities the Cadillac may have suffered from defective brakes and/or tires. Reports indicate both drivers were seriously injured in the crash.
