What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash at FM 600 in Jones County, TX on August 19th, 2023. Officials say the incident happened around 5:44 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-150 operated by 23-year-old Caitlyn Rorie was headed northbound, approaching a curve in the roadway. It then veered into a west barrow ditch before attempting to correct back onto the roadway. It then went into a skid before veering left, ejecting Rorie from the vehicle. Officials say Rorie was hospitalized with injuries suspected of being serious in nature. Additional information was not immediately available.
