What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Sublett Rd in Arlington, TX on May 22nd, 2022. Police believe the incident happened around 10 p.m. Currently, investigators are saying a Dodge Challenger operated by an unnamed 19-year-old Arlington male was previously stopped at Meadowside Trail before allegedly failing to yield to oncoming traffic. The vehicle collided with a Buick Regal operated by 55-year-old Carol Chapman while attempting to turn eastbound on Sublett Rd. The collision caused serious injuries to Chapman. The occupants of the Dodge were uninjured. Officers recommended and/or issued a Failure to Yield Row Stop Sign change against the Dodge driver.
