What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a pedestrian at Northwest Fwy in Harris County, TX on July 20th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 1:37 p.m. According to investigators, Carolina Gonzales was crossing the parking lot into the main entrance before being struck by a Ford Ranger. Following the collision, the truck is alleged to have parked nearby without stopping to render aid to Gonzales. It was alleged the driver of the truck exited the vehicle and entered into the store and was stopped by authorities upon exiting. Gonzales suffered undisclosed injuries in the collision. Sources indicate a Failure to Stop and Render Aid charge was recommended and/or issued against Jureen Kay Millsaps.
