What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured multiple people at Sessom Dr in San Marcos, TX on August 25th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 10:54 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Camaro operated by a 21-year-old Seguin man was northwest on East Sessom, approaching a curve in the roadway. Authorities allege the vehicle veered across a center line into oncoming traffic, colliding with a Ford Explorer operated by 61-year-old Carrie Dannels. Officials say both the Seguin man and a passenger were seriously injured. Also seriously injured was Dannels, according to officials. Police also say several passengers in the Ford had injuries considered to be non-life-threatening in nature. Additional information was not immediately available.
