State Police are investigating a crash that killed a pedestrian at US 80 in Longview, TX on May 7th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 10:47 p.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Challenger headed eastbound struck a pedestrian operating an electric scooter in a middle lane. Following the collision, the Dodge fled the scene without stopping to render aid. The pedestrian, identified as 39-year-old Carrie Pickron, suffered fatal injuries in the collision.
