What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person at State Hwy 99 in Harris County, TX on September 1st, 2023. Officials say the incident happened around 11:45 a.m. Police say a Cadillac CT5 operated by Charles Lee was eastbound at the time. The vehicle is alleged t have left its lane before entered into a grassy median. From there, the vehicle is said to have struck a guardrail before vaulting over and overpass, striking a Ford F-150. The crash left Lee with fatal injuries at the scene. Additional information was not immediately available.
