Authorities are investigating a crash that injured multiple people at State Hwy 64 in Van Zandt County, TX on May 11th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 4:19 p.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Sentra was proceeding through an intersection before colliding with an eastbound Mercedes-Benz GLK. Authorities say the driver of the Mercedes-Benz, identified as 45-year-old Chasity Daniels, was seriously injured. A 49-year-old passenger in the vehicle was also seriously injured, reports say, while a second 49-year-old passenger had non-life-threatening injuries. The other driver, age 18 and not publicly identified, had minor injuries and cited for Failure to Yield Row. Additional information was not available.
