What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Carolina Dr in El Paso, TX on December 23rd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 6 p.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Sentra operated by 33-year-old Jose Romero was traveling southbound when it allegedly veered into a northbound lane, colliding head-on with a Toyota Tundra operated by 32-year-old Christopher Gonzalez. Gonzalez suffered serious injuries in the collision, according to investigators. Romero was evaluated for possible injuries and authorities recommended an Intoxication Assault w Motor Vehicle charge.
