What Happened

Area authorities are ivnevtsiating a crash that killed a pedestrian at Main St in Harris County, TX on January 29th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 9 p.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Charger operated by Kaleel Samuel was in a northbound lane of Main St at the time. The vehicle collided  with a pedestrian after making a lane change. Officials say there were no crosswalks in the area at the time of the collision. The pedestrian, identified as Christopher Montemayor, was taken to an area hospital with injuries he later died from. Additional details were not available.
