What Happened

Royse City Police are investigating a crash that killed two people at I-30 in Royse City, TX on August 7th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 8:30 a.m. Police say an 18-wheeler was headed westbound before crossing into the eastbound lanes for unknown reasons. It then collided with three other passenger vehicles, one of which caught fire in the collision. Two people in that vehicle, identified as 35-year-old Christopher Scott Talley and his  36-year-old wife, Shannon Nickole Crawford, suffered fatal injuries at the scene.
