What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a person at Dyer St in El Paso, TX on January 13th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 8:46 p.m. According to investigators, a GMC Sierra C1500 operated by 54-year-old Christopher Martin was headed northbound on Dyer prior to attempting a left turn onto Ameen. A southbound motorcycle operated by 27-year-old Christopher Westover was in a middle lane, colliding with the side of the vehicle as it turned. The collision left Westover with fatal injuries. Martin was not injured and officers recommended and/or issued a Driving While Intoxicated charge.
