What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person involved at FM 145 in Parmer County, TX on August 4th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 9:36 p.m. Authorities allege a Ford F-150 operated by 32-year-old Colby Sneller was eastbound, approaching a curve in the roadway. Officials believe the vehicle veered from the road at the curve for unclear reasons before entering into a ditch. While attempting to correct back onto the road, officers believe the vehicle went into a skid, entering into an opposite side ditch. They believe this led to the vehicle overturning several times, ejecting Sneller from the vehicle. Sneller was transported to an area hospital with injuries he later died from. Officials say there were no other vehicles involved or injuries reported.
