Texas Department of Public Safety officials have information on a crash that injured a driver at State Hwy 358 in Corpus Christi, TX on March 6th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 12:49 a.m. According to investigators, a Hyundai Accent operated by 30-year-old Corey Augusta Brister was headed eastbound on S Padre Island Dr before traveling into the intersection with Airline Rd. Officers allege the vehicle disregarded a traffic signal before colliding with another vehicle at the intersection. Brister was seriously injured in the crash and hospitalized. The other driver was evaluated for possible injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
