What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a person at State Hwy 123 in San Marcos, TX on December 2nd, 2022. Police say that incident happened around 8:07 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Silverado operated by 23-year-old Royce Robison was traveling eastbound on Clovis Barker Dr before allegedly disregarding a stop sign at the intersection with Hwy 123. The vehicle struck the side of a northbound Chevrolet Trax operated by 58-year-old Crisanta Cazares, who was killed in the crash. A 19-year-old male passenger and infant girl were both seriously injured while Robinson and his passenger were uninjured. Officers recommended and/or issued an Intoxication Manslaughter charge.
