What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured three people at Appleton St in Houston, TX on December 12th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 7:49 p.m. According to investigators, a Cadillac SRX operated by a 28-year-old Houston man is believed to have been stopped at a stop sign, facing northing on Airline. The vehicle is allegedly to have failed to yield from the stop sign, colliding with a Hyundai Santa Fe Sport operated by 21-year-old Crystal Chavez. Chavez had serious injuries, according to investigators. The Houston man and a child passenger in his vehicle has minor injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
