What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a person at FM 1021 in Eagle Pass, TX on July 18th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 6:39 p.m. According to investigators, a GMC Terrain operated by a 27-year-old Eagle Pass man was southbound on Laredo St before allegedly running a stop sign, colliding with a Toyota 4Runner entering onto the roadway. The driver of the Toyota, identified as 29-year-old Cynthia Valadez, suffered suspected serious injuries. The Eagle Pass man had possible injuries and a charge of Intoxication Assault charge was recommended and/or issued.
